The doctor appt today went well. He took x-rays and both the spot where the tumor was(which is now filled with bone cement) and my artifical knee are both intact. He wasnapos;t sure what was causing the pain, but figured it was inflammation and gave me a script to take vicodin for a few days. And if by next week, itapos;s still not feeling up to par, to call him back and heapos;ll decide if I need more tests or whatnot. Thatapos;s fine as long as itapos;s not another EMG. FUCK that hurt. At the end of it, my hands were dripping with sweat because it was so painful.

It is going to be ass-kicking COLD here tonight, which makes me all that more grateful that my doc gave me the okay to miss work tonight. He wants me to keep icing my knee and keep it elevated as much as possible. Hmm, lay around in bed/in the recliner with snuggly pillows and blankets? SIGN ME UP :D

I am nearly done with "Testing Kate" and itapos;s turning out to be such a good book. A few lines had me laughing my arse off. Whitney Gaskell is the author. PICK IT UP. Sara gives it two thumbs up And Iapos;m so excited that she has a new book coming out on the 28th of this month called "Good Luck". Must remember to pre-order it @ Borders.

OH. Get this... I am part of a message board community for people who have had or are thinking of having weight-loss surgery. Thereapos;s a MN board, too, and today I got a private message(which is like an e-mail) from a lady who teaches one of the classes I will be taking next semester at Metro State Small world, huh? I thought that was pretty cool.

OH #2 Down another two pounds, which makes the grand total thus far one hundred fifty seven pounds GONE. Isnapos;t that amazing? I fit into clothes I never thought I would... EVER. And itapos;s so nice to be able to maneuver around people without asking them to scoot over or step aside. When I was bigger, I thought I was going to be that size until I died. And... This is scary for me to admit, but I probably would have not made it to age 50 being the size I was. Now I am only on one prescribed medication to help me sleep, and the rest are vitamins.

Gotta let the dog in and then head back to bed. I can feel the vicodin kicking in, lol.
