The sky is this white color, kind of looks like soap scum, and the woods across from my house are misty and gray, like theyapos;re hung behind a theater scrim. I would like very much for it to be sunny or something. My tired brain canapos;t deal with the gray.

On another note, I proved my nerdhood today by correctly answering this question: "When you feel like youapos;re going to throw up, you are...?" (The answer is "nauseated.") Apparently--and I didnapos;t know this, although I knew it was incorrect--if you say "Iapos;m nauseous," then basically youapos;re saying, "I make other people nauseous." So. A word to the wise...donapos;t say that.

Iapos;m very annoyed with all things McCain right now. Picking on a guy because of his name is low and very obviously desperate. Iapos;m assuming that the McCain campaign and that Florida cop donapos;t know that Hussein is a very common name...honestly. Iapos;m like...waaaaaay younger than him and somehow I seem to know a lot more, which makes me feel very wise beyond my years. (Also, I pwn Palin with my fierce grammar. And my pronunciation of nuclear. Which is not nucular.)

Unfortunately, the debate is tonight. I am far more disappointed than you would expect a political junky of my standing to be. Normally I would be bouncing off the walls and telling people that if they call me during the debate I will not only not answer, but shun them for a day, except for the fact that Ihave a choir concert tonight. Which is during the debate. So weapos;re taping it. Ah, old-fashioned technology. (We donapos;t have DVR. Or an answering machine. And our internet is 24 kbps. In case you donapos;t know, this is about the speed of a really slow snail.)

So Iapos;ve been working on this essay for one of my lit classes. Turned out pretty well, I think, after I completely rewrote the dratted thing. So now Iapos;m going on this crazy editing spree as I am wont to do, although...I have trouble editing my words. Iapos;ll get it eventually, but itapos;s just tough at first.

Well then. Oh, Iapos;m noting to myself here: when you can finally use your own computer, donapos;t forget to buy All That I Have, Love Me Dead, and...crap. There was one more. Oh no.
